Army Strong!

Hello All!! It's going to be a tough road for the "Army of 3" family. As Rich is joining the Army, hence the title of our blog! :) He has always wanted to join the military, but the timing has just not been right until now! God has opened SO MANY doors for him to fulfill his dream. Rich's dream is to fly Apache helicopters, like his Dad. Rich's Dad was in the Army for 20+ years, so Rich knows and understands the Military life. Rich will be leaving on Oct 24th to go to Basic Training in Fort Benning, GA and then from there he will go to AIT school in Arizona for 23 weeks, hopefully Jeremiah and I will be able to move out west with him while he is in school. Rich will be going to school to train to be an 'Unmanned Areal Vehicle Operator', which means he will be flying a remote control plane! Rich will be home from Basic Training (BT) just in time for Christmas!! :) After Christmas he will have to go back to BT for two weeks, just to complete the training.

I'm setting up this blog spot because I'm not sure where we will travel to in our journey of the Army life, but I want all our family and friends to be able to keep up with our lives.

Joyce,
I'm so glad we had this time to get to know one another. You will be missed in Bible Study. I can't wait to hear all about this new adventure you're on. Isn't it comforting to know that God is leading the way?

I don't even know them, yet I thank them (all of them) for their sacrifice for our country. I pray God will place His protective hand over them and use them as instruments of His perfect will wherever they may be.
Praying with you as we place our faith in a Sovereign and Holy God,

To my BEST FRIENDS, my FAMILY, I say, I love you, I'm praying for you, and I will miss you more than words can express. Joyce, you have been what I have been missing all of these years. Other friends claimed to be my best friend but I didn't know what A true friend was really like until I met you. Then even better we became as close as sisters. Rich, you are everything I could ask for when it comes to picking the best person in my sister's life. You two, with Jeremiah, are the most wonderful friends, no family, in my life and I will miss you deeply. May God guide you on your journey. May he lead you wherever you go. Just know that my heart is with you. I love all three of you. Amber
P.S.Take care of my future son in law!
